Personal tasks are a special type of task that only you can see, and that cannot be assigned to others.
There are two ways to create a personal to-do list with Workast.
- Within Slack
- In the Workast web application
On the left hand side of the Slack chat you will see your direct messages.
Click on the direct message with Workast
All the tasks created in this direct message with Workast are on your personal to-do list.
Create a task by typing /todo followed by the task details
E.g. /todo Send out calendar invite for CRM meeting
Press enter to save the task
This will add the task to your Personal to-do list
To see all your tasks, type list in the direct message with Workast and all of your tasks will be listed. Your personal tasks will show under "Personal Tasks."
